Telltronics: software
Various code I've written. Some recent, some ancient.
- DMX-512 tools,
Patches for the
Dmx4Linux
driver suite and and an enhanced version of the
SLight
lighting control software.
- Gwave,
a tool for viewing analog waveform files, such as those generated by
various versions of SPICE.
- Resurrecting an iPod Nano
that developed errors on its flash "disk."
- Lp, A perl module
for manipulating the parallel printer port hardware signals
on a linux system.
- Sgsterm,
Steve's Gnome Serial Terminal.
Sgsterm is a dumb-terminal emulator for gnome.
It provides xterm-like display output and keyboard input
connected to an RS232 serial port.
- Tekdump,
a Tektronix scope screen-dump utility.
Tekdump captures screen-dump data from a Tektronix DSA601/602 or CSA800
series oscilloscope, and writes a screen image to a file each time the
"print" button is pressed on the instrument. This code was written in 1996,
and last used by me in 1998, but several people have reported getting it
working since then.
- TreoMessage,
For extracting SMS text messages from a Palm Treo 650 phone
This package contains dumpmsg, a tool for extracting the contents
of the "Messages Database.pdb" from a treo.
- Ppulse-patch,
A patch for linux-2.4.20.
This patch
adds an ioctl to the the ppdev driver of linux-2.4.20.
The PPULSE ioctl makes ppdev usable for user-space drivers that require some
limited precise control over the timing of output signals from parallel port.
- dtools, tools for managing spice simulations of custom circuits.
I'm still working on this page, please come back!
